ULP Super Regenerative Transmitter with Digital Quenching Signal Controller

This paper demonstrates an on–off keying (OOK) super-regenerative quenching transmitter operating in 402–405 MHz MICs band applications. To reduce power consumption, the is controlled by a novel digital signal controller that generates control to start operation when baseband input transmitter. The consists of envelope detector, comparator, and quench timer designed using state machine synchronize between signal. Colpitts oscillator double frequency followed divider 2; this configuration reduces system area improves phase noise spectrum. proposed implemented UMC 130 nm CMOS technology 1.2 V supply. Simulation shows can meet MICS mask specifications with data rates up 1 Mbps total dissipation 537 uW.
